1 · Paper first

Rights letter (adaptation, characters, merch, revenue split) executed alongside this NDA; manuscript file delivered; publisher confirmation that media rights sit with the author. Counsel reviews both instruments.

2 · Ninety-day map

  1. Weeks 1–2 — story bible locked, one spine, three translations.
  2. Weeks 3–4 — character sheets style-locked; full voice cast auditioned and cast; first flagship animatic.
  3. Weeks 5–6 — this site goes live (private), storefront wired, Same Page Society soft-launch — ten seeded host tables from the author's network.
  4. Weeks 7–10 — three flagship animatics complete; traction dashboard (hosts, emails, reviews, merch) feeds the production-house deck.

3 · Funding ladder

Path A: option/development with a production house (author attached as EP). Path B: co-production on one lane. Path C: community circuit — pie sales and fruit stands run by partner congregations, and a lake-house weekend raffle run only by a licensed charitable partner under Virginia charitable gaming rules, with school-district approval where applicable. Paydirt sponsors; it never operates games of chance. Counsel clears every event before a flyer prints.

4 · The loop

Shorts → gatherings → reviews and book sales → merch margin → next short. When the wheel proves it spins without a studio, the studio conversation changes.
